My project is about the current state of our country. Everyone has seen the headlines and all of it is unacceptable. This photo was taken in Hawaii which is usually called a paradise and I think that it suits this photo very well because it shows beautiful palm trees in the back while the flag of our country is fading away and has been exposed to the elements. I believe that this photo represents how even in the face of hard times in our country's history we, at our very cores are still American and should love one another because you are able to see the edges of the flag starting to decay and fade away but the 50 stars are still visible and are a stark contrast to the faded and washed
out parts of the flag.
