Threshold to Sanctuary

• Description: I took this photo on Assateague beach at the entrance leading into the stretches of sand and endless breaks of water against the shore. For me the beach represents a sanctuary where I can escape my worries and live in the moment. The photo is taken from a low-angle with a glimpse of the ocean in the background to capture the mystical qualities of the beach.
